Frequent Answers and Questions:
Will this be a free roaming or fenced hunt?
The animals are free roaming within a fenced area. People do not like them Buffalo messing around in their back yards trampling their kiddies and scaring the dogs….If they do they get themselves gin trapped, snared, eaten, muzzle loader injected (ouch!) so nah….the fine folks down my way keep them behind fences.
Will we be driving between areas?
It depends on you. I have two areas where you can hunt the Buffalo. The one is on the border of the Kruger National Park.
What is the area like for the Buffalo?
1. This is a true Buff hunt in the Mopani forests like anywhere else in Southern Africa where I have hunted Buffalo. At SCI I asked a couple of guides and clients where the Buff was hunted on the video, and they all said the Zimbabwe low-veld. Well it was not, it is the South African Low-veldt.Expect a 36-40” bull with heavy bosses. 6,500 game ranch bordering the Kruger National Park
2. In my back yard. Rolling hills and fantastic beautiful Savanaha bushveld. The area supports a breeding herd of Buffalo and I am only allowed to shoot bulls that are not in the heard. Client can expect a Big old Buffalo Bull in the 38”-42” class here. Currently there are 6 old Dugga boys on their own, to hunt. 10, 000 acre prestigious game ranch in South Africa
Other Game?
You can benefit from hunting some of the specialised Plains Game animals I do for a trophy fee only, without TRAVELLING more than 30 minutes from the lodge:
Night hunts:
Bushpig, Brown Hyena(Europeans and Canadians only), Serval, Civet, Porcupine, Genet, Caracal, Honey Badger, Jackal (do you have any idea how few people have them as trophies?)
Day hunts:
Mountain Reedbuck, Nyala, Klipspringer, Limpopo Bushbuck, Common Reedbuck
Other interesting stuff:
Roan (8,500)
Tsessebe (2,500)
And of course all the other “common” Plains Game.
ZEBRA special ***$850.00*** for this hunt only!
Do I have exclusive rights to this area?
Yes
Who is a good candidate for this hunt?
The person that have the money to pay me! Fair enough?
You got permission from….well you know who it is that you need permission from.
The person who likes the fact that he and his wife/child/partner will stay in plush accommodations and be treated like royalty!
The person who understands the value of driving only 2,5 hours from the airport after arrival
The couple who wants a en-suite JACUZZI in their room

L. David KeithSomeone will get one hell of a hunt. Charl is not only a lot of fun to hunt with, but his knowledge of history is excellent. You'll do more than just hunt, you will enjoy yourself immensely. Just check out some of his past trophy pics if you want to see some top shelf results. These hunts aren't the cake walk some are led to believe. These Buffalo are not to be taken lightly; only a fool would think otherwise.

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......
"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."
