Continental Divide Outfitters Offers private land hunts for Deer and Elk in Eastern Montana. We have 25,000 acres that we hunt in the Bull Mountains East of the town of Roundup. Our Elk hunts are spectacular with numerous bulls spotted each hunt. The archery and rifle elk permits are on a draw and the deadline is March 15th to apply. We will help get your application filled out and it can be done on paper or on line. This offer is for Elk either Archery or rifle. Your hunt will consist of 5 full hunting days (7 for archery). You arrive at the Ranch house the evening before your hunt starts and plan on departing the day after. There will be 1 guide for every 2 hunters. Meals consist of a light breakfast before daylight. We return to camp late morning for a hot hearty breakfast and a large hot family style meal after the evening hunt. Hunting style is by spot and stalk, blinds or tree stands. We can accommodate any skill level, or fitness level of any hunter. We went 4 for 4 on our rifle elk hunters and 4 for 5 on our archery elk hunter in 2014. We try to keep our camp to 4 hunters per week but can easily accommodate groups of 6. Montana offers a rare opportunity to hunt elk for 5 weeks during the archery season and 5 more weeks during rifle season. There are days during the rut when we hear hundreds of bugles. We are not the cheapest hunt you will find but not the most expensive either. We always give our hunters 110% and want every hunter to go home with the trophy they came to Montana for. I can provide a list of references from this past hunting season . As of now open dates are listed below, but please message me for available openings, as people are starting to make plans for the fall already.
Price is $6500.00 per hunter and does not include Montana licenses listed below. We require a $2000.00 deposit per hunter to lock in your dates and the balance due 30 days before your trip.
Our archery hunts are 7 days long.

Archery Elk permits are about 70% success in drawing with no points
Rifle Elk Permits are about 10% success in drawing with no points

You can turn this hunt into a DEER/Elk combo hunt by haven the general deer license and only paying a $1000 trophy fee only when you harvest a buck
