Mokore Safaris operates the huge and wild Coutada 9 in Mozambique. This may be the best unfenced plains game hunting in Southern Africa. It was amazing when I visited there 22 years ago and much better now. C9 allows a hunt to include several of the most desired plains game species to be hunted all in the same safari. Sable, 3 of spiral horns nyala, kudu, bushbuck, eland, Lichtenstein's hartebeest, zebra, waterbuck, reedbuck oribi, red duiker, grysbok, suni, bushpig plus the most and largest warthog found anywhere. The area also has good lion and buffalo with a 2nd buffalo as well as hippo and croc being available on Coutada 14 by special arrangement.

The camp is tented but with ensuite bath and on demand hot water. Food is of high quality and you'll be wanting for nothing.

Some dates are available throughout the season Aug-Nov 2022 with openings in Sept-Oct which is ideal.
