If the hunter does not want to bring his own gun. That is fine. They can use one of outfitters guns at no charge. We only ask to pay for what ammunition was used.

I’d pay what it would cost me to bring guns in as well

.

Boarkiller - you can pay that !!

I would rather take them up on the 'no charge' proposal and spend the extra on more trophies to hunt!!

Just my 2 cents

I just booked eight days for plains game. I will hunt first for buffalo and plains game in SA, then to Botswana and on to Zim for two weeks.
Will report when all is complete.

Is the $200 fee for gun imports something relatively new for Botswana? I flew into Maun in 2014 for a hunt with Kanana and wasn't charged anything for bringing my guns into the country. Did get charged on my ammo but it wasn't an excessive amount.

Those look like great deals, what's the estimate for D&P fees?

Botswana is a great hunting destination.

This reminds me of Kanana too. I booked their very first safari package when they opened up the doors there. It was so good that I booked my second hunt on the second day of my first hunt.

Made some great memories with the late Jason Bridger.

Actual gun permit cost from govt is $160/rifle. They are probably charging a bit to process them.

Hello All

Yes government does charge for rifles as Tim said. Botswana is some of the best hunting in Africa.
As I said before these packages are an idea of what we can put together. If anyone would like a custom quote please feel free to contact me.

Thank you

Matt

Cal. Nice working with you. No doubt you will have a great hunt. Please make sure to write a report here. Thanks

Dip and pack can vary depending on size of trophies. Please let me know what animals you are thinking and I can get you a quote. Also keep in mind dip and pack is done from SA. They pick up in our Tuli area and ship from SA.
