Will thank you for asking , if you are wanting to hunt a kudu in this package i would say April and May , that is smack center of the rut and the big bulls are slightly distracted by the breeding season ,if you are going to go gemsbuck then there is no special time but they do get a better coat in June/July as its our winter and the coats are pretty full and in good condition.

Would it be possible to do both, Gemsbuck and Kudu?

Who is the preferred dip/pack studio?

It is up to you who you want to use. Andrew has switched providers over the years, as all are not created equally. In all honesty, dip and pack and taxidermy are the greatest challenge on these trips. The hunting part is easy to get right. I have tried having items mounted there as well as having straight dip and pack service. Each has their merits and each has their drawbacks. Choose what suits your needs and have a plan before you go. Be prepared for fairly expensive freight charges regardless of the method you choose. I think those things need to be disclosed on these hunts so there are no surprises. Andrew has local people who will assist you if you desire. He can also put you in contact with them in advance if you like so you can get some idea of what suits your needs best. Feel free to give me a call or email wade@crosshairconsulting.com anytime. Ditto here with a family hunt of five in 2012. I have used Wade a fair bit and am booked through him for Zim buff/sable next year and Kodiak brown bear in the following year.

We have some openings still and the special is ongoing for this season.
