Should be no charge for solving a problem animal situation. You're providing a public service.

Ann,

I asked the question, and got an answer.

I do not want to delete it for the simple reason others can see it and avoid similar offers in the future.

I am not sure that Mike knows it is illegal, so let us give him the benefit of the doubt, and he might tell us something.

Hunting problem animals has always been a murky subject

Another good reason not to delete this thread.

Many times this subject has come up in the past.

Hi everyone,

Thank you Morten for posting that.

I am currently in Zambia at Royal Kafue and only get WiFi when the generator is running so only a limited time to respond to anything.

I was led to believe that these hunts were legal with all the correct hunting licences and permits but after doing some further investigations myself I have found out that they are not legal.

I am withdrawing this offer and want to say that I am extremely sorry on my part for posting this offer in the first place. I do not and never will be involved in any illegal activities.

I am very sorry to all of you.

Saeed I hope I can stay a member on this forum as I really enjoy read everything on here. Can you please delete this hunt offer whenever you see fit.

With kind regards
Mike

Mike,

Just what I thought.

And thank you for answering here.

This does not reflect badly on you at all, as I suspected, you were not given the full facts and when you were given the offer.

I would rather leave this here, as an example for future reference.

You can offer any hunt you wish, just like all our members who are in the business.

Best of luck.

did a few PAC hunts back before it was deemed"bad"

still do not agree that it is--
after all, the animals are going to die-- just a matter of who pulls the trigger and who pays

This is also true for DCA (Damage Causing Animals) in Limpopo in South Africa BUT NOT for the Mpumalanga province. A Foreign hunter can shoot a DCA animal in Mpumlanga and legally export it.

Just a FYI

Mike,
you may want to sever your relationship with Giles Allcock and Leopard Rock Outfitters for trying to mislead you and your clients and potentially putting them and you in a heap of trouble had this not been exposed.
