Bring a rod, lots of lures and wire leader. http://s304.photobucket.com/us...jpg.html?sort=3&o=25 BEFORE YOU LEAVE: • You get a complete list of what to bring and what is provided, down to your toothbrush. • I will work with you ahead of the hunt to get your gun import paperwork, visa and hunting license in Cameroon completed. • You apply and pay for visa and gun import with my help. You need to start ~3 months ahead of time to assure hunt permit. Rush permits can be acquired. I send copies of your visa and gun import you provide me to Cameroon at least 2 months ahead of the hunt so your Cameroon hunting permit is ready on arrival. WHEN YOU ARRIVE: • I have a crew in country that picks you up at the airport, Yaoundé (NSI airline code). One of my staff is with you the whole trip. My staff is used to handling English and French speaking clients, but French is their primary language. • You typically spend the first and last nights at a hotel or my apartment, your cost unless you get in early enough to catch the train north the same day. • I arrange local transportation, which includes trains, my vehicles and/or a hired car to take you to the camp. Train ride is overnight. A vehicle is available, but you will be on foot the most of the time, as game is prevalent near the hunting camp. A vehicle can transport you out and help in game retrieval, but the hunting is on foot. In-country transport is included in your fee. There are no charters, all in-country transport is included. • You are responsible for all of your own personal gear. Guns can be rented; .375H&H. This saves cost and hassle. • All your in-country food is purchased for you along with provisions for the staff. I pay for these. I recommend you bring some freeze-dried food and snacks, but basic food is provided. You have a full time cook. • I arrange to have camp manager, cook, trackers and porters. You will have a staff of 3-4 personnel as well as maid service for clothes washing daily. There is a gas stove and gas refrigerator in main camp. • There are experienced skinners assigned to you, but you are still responsible for the oversight of the skinning. Bring antibacterial (eg. Dettol Antiseptic from Amazon.com) and tags for your trophies. Zip tie tags to your trophies with your taxidermist listed before you leave. All these details are reviewed in documents I will send you when you sign up. AT THE END OF THE TRIP: • I will arrange to have paperwork completed at the end of the trip so trophies can be exported. This includes all CITES and veterinary paperwork for export. I arrange for air shipping. I charge $1500 for all the export work, pack and dip. You pay shipping and arrange to receive the trophies. I will be in booth 2911 in Vegas and would love for you to stop by and we can talk even if you do not want to book a trip. It gets very boring if no one comes by ! I team up with Jim Shockey, so have my booth next to his. I also plan to be in Cameroun myself for most of March and you are welcome to come out when I am there, but I have previous commitments and cannot personally guide you. This is a hell of a deal in an amazing area. I went to Cam's camp in 2011 and had the adventure of a lifetime. I would highly recommend this area and Cam's outfit. Jason "You're not hard-core, unless you live hard-core." _______________________ Hunting in Africa is an adventure. The number of variables involved preclude the possibility of a perfect hunt. Some problems will arise. How you decide to handle them will determine how much you enjoy your hunt. Just tell yourself, "it's all part of the adventure." Remember, if Robert Ruark had gotten upset every time problems with Harry Selby's flat bed truck delayed the safari, Horn of the Hunter would have read like an indictment of Selby. But Ruark rolled with the punches, poured some gin, and enjoyed the adventure. -Jason Brown

This is a cool place. Lots of animals. Cams crew was very easy to get along with. I did it in 2014 as well and would easily reccomend it. You can borrow money, but you can't borrow time. Don't wait, go now. Savannah Safaris Namibia Otjitambi Trails & Safaris DRSS NRA SCI DSC TSRA TMPA
