If any of you have reservations about hunting with hounds let me say it is a blast.

Was out today and ran a coyote and a bob cat they both gave us the slip.

Not as easy as some think.

Folks,

Doug will work his butt off for you, his dogs are great and Julie will make you fatter. The lynx are everywhere.

That last Lnnx is incredible ( or is is two huge Lynx)
Looks damn near the size of a Mountain a lion.
For Lynx you certainly have it down.

It is on both. On the lynx hunts I apply once the license and tags are bought, this allows the permit to be ready for the client to fly home with their trophy.
Lions require a government inspection so they get sent to a taxidermist to be salted and shipped after I take care of the inspection.

A huge lynx only weighs 27-30 lbs average toms like these are 24-25 lbs. The are all legs and fur.

I definitely catch more lynx then any other outfitter, it has become a specialty. I prefer to chase them more then lions as we have the dogs out working everyday.
We have world class lions with 50% or better killed making B&C. You just spend more time looking for a good track, big toms are not behind every tree.
If someone is looking for a worldclass tom you better be prepared to to work at it. If people just want to kill a female or young tom they need to look somewhere else.

Has anyone else heard that USF&W is not issuing any permits, for anything?

permits are issued in Canada and only stamped by the US when entering the US.
I have sent 14 lynx home this season and had no problem.

A couple of good dates left for lynx this season.

My favorite week is still up for grabs
November 23-28 2018 2 on 1 hunt

January 24-29 2019 is open for someone to make up the second half of a 2 on 1 hunt . You would get first shot. this hunt is sold

Cougar dates are all gone.
