End of Year Uganda Special: 7 days in Karamoja

Good day folks,

As we still have tags valid till end of December, we’d like to offer hunters a chance to get some usually costly East African species, including a few endemic to Uganda, at a very good price. We are only doing one of these.

Another reason for discount is as it’s the end of the wet season, conditions will not be perfect and it could mean a solid opportunity to take one or two of the listed species may not present itself.

We last made this offer on AR in 2015, both slots were immediately taken up, and both hunters got every species, with two exceptions: one hunter did not get a bushbuck, the other did not get a duiker.

Area:
PianUpe Wildlife Reserve, southern Karamoja, Uganda

Price: 7 days
$7,250 Hunter
$1,250 Observer

Price includes:
Hunting and trophy export permits plus dip/pack
Use of camp rifle and ammo for no charge
Road transport Entebbe airport to camp and back

Price excludes:
Trophy fees and shipping
Arrival and/or departure days accommodation in Entebbe if needed
Firearm import permit if hunter wants to bring a rifle ($200)

Tags:
Pattersons eland $2,250 East African Defassa waterbuck $1,750 Jackson’s hartebeest $2,500 Guenthers dik di $900 Bohor reedbuck $900 Nile bushbuck $1,900
Oribi $450 East African bush duiker $500

Dates: ONLY dates this hunt can happen is between 2 December and 17 December 2021.

COVID-19: entry to Uganda is simple as long as you have proof of full vaccination, plus negative PCR test no older than 72 hrs pre-arrival.
IMMIGRATION: visa can be bought on arrival, most passports $50, a quick process.
FIREARMS: due to short notice, it will be difficult to process a temp import permit, but if preferred, this can be done.

Are there sitatunga in your hunting area? If so, please say trophy fee.

Hi, yes we do have sitatunga in the area, but no tags left for this year. Trophy fee, as you asked, is $5,000.
Thanks.
