These are several options on Lions to hunt.

Please take note that these are Captive Bred Lions and not importable to the following countries.
USA, Australia, France and the Netherlands

Lions will be released to roam free on the property prior to your arrival.
Lions may not be baited and hunted.
Only walk and stalk is permitted.
Bow Hunting is legal and a permit should be applied for.

The duration of the hunt is 6 Nights accommodation and 5 hunting days.

5 Hunting days @ $350.00 per day

You choose your category of Lion

The pictures shown are examples and not the actual Lion you will hunt

I’m betting they’re not released on the property- they already live there…

Lions roam free on this property and replaced as they get hunted. There is usually 10 to 15 Lions walking freely at any point and time.

This goes against my personal code but if someone chooses to do it, so be it. I put it this in same category as the guy that killed that mutated looking Bull Elk behind a fence. Zero boasting rights!

I don't recall anyone saying you should do it. If one decided to hunt behind a fence and the other doesn't SO BE IT. Why should we always try and enforce our believes and feeling upon others?

There is no place for boasting rights in the hunting industry, it's all about conservation and the survival of the species. It's not about YOU to start with.

Cheers and Happy new year.

Whatever is our own opinions.

Farming animals IS conservation!

Why do you think are so many lions and rhinos are around?

Some of us might not like hunting these.

Others do.

I agree with Saeed.
There is nothing "wrong" with this. If you like this kind of hunt - go.
A large part of the hunting business in Texas is behind high fence. If it weren't for high fence, you can kiss goodbye - addax, scimtar oryx, aoudad, Pere David deer, various ibex and various urials....

I would urge you not to judge this offer as it meets a need.

I made a statement, of which of which I have a right to express! It's funny how you are trying to check off all the so-called PC boxes because YOU obviously have a vested interest! More than anybody else!

That is a spot on statement and I did not realize this until I met one of me best friends from Texas. I had never realized this. The goes for South Africa; I am glad they are preserving these animals.

Although I will likely never hunt South Africa again, I would consider hunting with Bossie as he has been nothing but honest and upfront with his offerings.

Exactly.

And that is why we should not stand against farm bred lions and support the antis.

Once they get their wish, they turn towards banning all farmed animals.

I have hunted Africa four times since 2006. All in South Africa. Different outfitters each time. Not once did I feel I was hunting in a fenced area. Every property was huge. Going back in september to hunt with Bossie and his outfit. I am certainly looking forward to what will probably be my last such excursion. cheers and best wishes for a great 2023! LUKE

There are some very fine operators in RSA and on AR and some very dubious ones

FYI: A Doc gave me the latest issue of Smithsonian
Magazine and it had what I believe was a fairly balanced article on the overall Lion/Hunting in S.A. and Africa. The writer is originally from Wyoming and grew up hunting. If stats are close or correct, it was informative. It featured Tienie Bomberger and his wife and Warthog Safaris.

Yes the article tried to give a balanced view on lion hunting in South Africa. The thing is it will reach a fair amount of individuals who will question some of their beliefs. I know that my wife was impressed with the article.

I thought it was a fair and balanced review of lion hunting/breeding in SA. Lot of good info.
