Hunt: Sonora Mexico Mule Deer Hunt 2024-2025 season

Hi folks, I haven't offered hunts here in a while but I bring some good offers for some spots I have available for this next season.

The area:
I stick to hunting close to Hermosillo, my home town, all the hunting ranches are in perfectly safe areas where me, my family, friends and staff move around frequently, i stay away from the north areas were weird stuff goes on, I have hunted on these areas for 10 years and will be joining all hunters on their hunts.
I have a base camp south where two big ranches are hunted for a total of 24,000 acres plus several ranches on other spots around the city that add to another extra 37,000 acres available.

The hunts offered:
Two options exist, one is staying in camp on the first area mentioned and hunting the two big ranches from the ranch house, this area is 45 minutes from town.
Second option is staying in town and driving from the hotel every day and returning every evening switching from ranch to ranch as it seems better for the hunt, both the area south where camp is as well as the other ranches mentioned are available to be hunted with this option.

Hunting method:
A mixture of high racking, glassing/ spot n stalk and sitting on feeders is used depending on the ranch, the terrain and the deer activity as it seems adequate. Feed and water is provided to the deer year round on all the leases.
If bowhunting, spot and stalk can be attempted but with the terrain and vegetation down here we do most of our bowhunts on blinds over feeders or water where we have monitored activity of good bucks hitting at shooting hours.

Trophy expectations:
We are looking at shooting mature bucks over the 170” class minimum, depending on deer movement and activity we set our standards for bigger deer ideally targeting bucks on the 180”-185” class several 190” and 30” wide bucks are shot each season and they can be targeted depending on the activity observed and the deer movement on the week being hunted. We see and shoot 200” plus deer every season and that is a possibility in all of our leases.
On coues deer we target bucks over the 100” class.
Management deer are mature/ older bucks with the standard for them changing from ranch to ranch but usually being bucks that have 3x3, 3x2, 2x2 or smaller forked frames, again the standard is set by individual landowners so it changes from one ranch to the next one.

Accommodations:
Camp is a basic but comfortable ranch house, with generator electricity, clean beds and bathrooms, room service, hot and cold running water and starlink wifi.
Meals are home cooked with traditional mexican fare being the norm being prepared by our experienced cooks, but meals can be tailored as requested.

Hunting package #1 (for ranch camp hunt option):
Includes


1 Trophy Mule Deer
Transportation from Hermosillo airport to the ranch and back after the hunt
5 full hunting days plus arrival and departure day in which hunting can take place depending on the arrival or departure time
All documentation and paperwork required for the legal hunt plus the trophy transportation back home
1 english speaking guide, driver and helper on each hunt
High rack vehicle
All meals,snacks and beverages including beer and spirits in moderation (Specific spirits, wines etc can be requested beforehand)
Lodging
Trophy preparation to be taken as luggage on the flight back
Javelinas, coyotes and other varmints
If required our rifles can be used (6.5 prc rifles with ballistic turret scopes ) with no extra cost for the use of the gun or ammo

December & february hunts: $12,000
January hunts: $13,000

Not included:
Flights
Hotels before or after the hunt if required
Taxidermy if requested or required
Trophy export agent, those services are required in case the hunter doesn't want to deal with the trophy on the flight or if the deer is shot too late on the hunt for it to be prepared properly for it to be taken on the flight and comply with the Fish and Wildlife regulations ( the price of the export broker is $600)
Rifle permit ($400)

Extras that can be added to the hunt:
Extra hunting day $1000
Extra trophy mule deer $12,000
Management mule deer $5000 ( depending on individual ranch availability)
Coues deer $5500 ( Coues deer can be shot as target of opportunity in some of our mule deer leases but if required we can go hunt some coues deer specific ranches once the mule deer is down)

Breakfast are included in the hotel, we provide pack lunches to be eaten at the ranch at midday, snacks as well as drinks: water, soda, beer etc, (spirits, specific lunches or other foods or beverages can be provided if requested )
Trophy preparation to be taken as luggage on the flight back
Javelinas, coyotes and other varmints
