These hunts are conducted on 3000 acres of varying sized pastures around the Olney area.

Out of the 5 groups we had last year only two failed to kill anything and folks in those groups had opportunities but were not able to connect.

These are Not guaranteed hunts by any means.

I was on the hunt one guy hit one and lost it.
I did not get the opportunity at any birds or hogs. I guess last year I was not blessed with he hunting gods hunting turkey twice did not connect either place.
Have to try again.

That is why it is called hunting, not murder. TexKD got a shot at a gobbler on the hunt you were on and things just did not work out, that happens sometimes when hunting.

The next place we tried, the birds just did nit come in to the set up, God can not make Free Range turkeys go exactly where a hunter wants them to go. Also no one set up at the location I suggested and whether birds came in there or not I can't say, but, it is difficult at minimum to get hunters shooting opportunities when they don't want to take advice from someone familiar with the area and the game.

TexKD and the hunter that came with him had to leave early due to an emergency and the next morning we DID see a sounder of pigs at the place that your group had hunted the afternoon before, but you were not interested in shooting a pig. Add to that, rain had moved in during the night and those pigs were the only animals we saw moving.

The hunts I offer on here, are As Advertised! I do not make any guarantees, other than that the client will get to hunt.

Does not matter the game being hunted, with the exception of the Buffalo that are offered on cull shoots, I nor Robert can guarantee that any of our clients will get a shot or even see game.

The majority of the time however, our clients do see and kill game, but sometimes it just does not work out. When hunting low fenced - Free Range animals, so many variables come into play that making guarantees to any one hunter or group of hunters success in making kills, is simply something I AM NOT going to do.

We sell hunting opportunities, I am up front with that.

To have had 3 groups in during a ten day time frame, yours, then a man and his son, and then another Father-Son duo and having all there groups or individuals in those groups see game and get shots or have shot opportunities, if they chose to take them, and the last group killing both a good gobbler and a pig was I feel pretty decent success on that group of properties during that short of a time frame.

I wish each and every client that does a hunt with us was able to kill game, but under the conditions our hunts take place, that just simply is not going to happen.

Don't need to be so defensive.
I was just telling guys I was one of the unsuccessful hunters.
I have not said anything negative.
I just did not get a bird in either place I hunted.
Did not harvest a bunch of animals last year none of the quality I like to harvest.
Not a big deal.
Thanks
Larry

Not being defensive, just being honest concerning the hunts I offer.

Yes - and that gobbler getting away still bothers me today. It had to happen sometime I guess.

I would love to make a run at it again this year but I am just on max to do right now.

Did you guys get some of this rain we have been getting down here for 3 or 4 months R?

Yes we have many of the ponds are full or nearing full, pastures have greened up, just not enough run off to fill area lakes but they have caught some water.
