Hey Guys,

We have this year got access to what looks like one of the best wild quail hunting areas in Romania and so it proves to be an excellent season.

Guns Can expect to shoot 15-30 quail per morning each, and the afternoons will be spent shooting Pigeons. Bags can be significantly higher but as with all wild birds we need to be mindful of natural migrations.

As of the 1st September wild duck flighting can be added in for an additional £300.

Prices exclude bar bill, & cartridges (about £10 per 25 shells).

Kiri,

You kill me with your hunt offers. I say this as I'm about to spend 4-6 weeks in Argentina. I just need to scratch to join you on your hunts.

I meant to be DSC Member...bad typing skills.

465H&H,

It is the Common European quail. Here's some pics

They are quite a cool little bird about half to two thirds the size of your american quail, (depending if it is the resident or migrating bird). They hold for a point and are found in small groups but no so much coveys in the traditional sense.

Numbers in the region are strong and so good sport can be had for a team of guns. I'm looking forward to shooting a few with my hammergun this year.
