Hello:

My name is Jim Welles. I own and operate JFW Ranch Consulting, LLC, with my wife Kelly at 10600 Eagle Rock Ave, Albuquerque, NM 87122. My phone number is 505.294.7861. Our e-mail address is JFWRC@comcast.net. I have been a registered outfitter in NM for 18+ years.

RIO HONDO FREE RANGE Barbary Sheep Hunts.

We have a couple of Barbary Sheep Hunts open on this ranch located in the beautiful Hondo Valley of New Mexico. This ranch is located between Roswell and Ruidoso. Typical Rams will be in the 28+ range. However, we have succeeded in taken a few over 30-31 inch rams while hunting this great ranch. The total ranch is comprised of 140,000 acres of beautiful SE NM. Lodging is provided. Meals are on your own. There is a full service kitchen in the lodge. Field trophy and meat care is provided. The cost of this hunt is $3,200 + NM Tax of 7%. A 50% deposit is required to secure your spot. The hunt date will be approximately February 1, 2014

All photos following were rams taken on the ranch in the last 3-4 years.

Jim is a good guy, provides a good hunt and is honest. I have done a hunt with him in the past and have two for this fall. If my praise is worth anything, I recomend him.

These 2 rams are 30+ and were taken by a hunt hard father and son team who would not quit until they scored big time. These were taken in in February 2012.

The two spots are still openSmiler

Thanks for the offer but I am not interested in waterfowl.

The sad part....I've made 2 trades before and got burned both times. Vowed never again.

We have added the option of bringing a buddy along to hunt either a Ewe or sub adult male (less than 24 inches). You will hunt together 2x1. We also have some flexibility on the date into the 2nd week of the season. The cost of the Ewe with lodging is $750 and the cost to upgrade to a sub-adult male is an additional $1,000. Jim
