I had only one places free of charge. Actually I was offering this for 2 hunters from AR community.
The price for this hunt is 1650 euros. For this season I have places available from 30.05-20.06.2019

Is most of the roe hunting done from high seats morning and late afternoon / early evening or more walk and stalk?

Roebuck hunting in this area is very excited because of the terrain. Forest and open areas. We start hunting early in the morning around 5:00 am. Stalking is the best in the morning, depending on the hunter skills. We walk until around 8-08:30 when they are returning in the forest. In the evening we start around 18-18:30 we can wait for them to come out in one edge of the forest in a high seats or on the ground. After 2 hours we can start to look after them, stalking to other places.
This is the way how we hunt them in this area. Some of the AR members went with me and they can confirm.

Bwanajay and I hunted with HuntRomania in September of last year for red stag and boar and had the chance to add on a couple of roe buck toward the end of the hunt. Thanks Marius and Charles. I was fortunate to find that buck!

In a few hours I was supposed to set foot in Romania for this hunt. But, just like for everyone else, covid is forcing a change of plans.

Marius is super generous "just" to make this offer. Now he really goes beyond that and allow me to postpone the trip to whenever restrictions makes it possible to go there. And he is doing this at a time when very few (none?) of his paying clients are able to provide income to his normal business. This is truly a gesture of generosity from Marius. I just lower my head and say - thank you!

Based on all the positive reviews he already got, I must say that booking a hunt with Marius just about guarantees that you will be taken care of properly!

So, after over 900 days of waiting I'm now enjoying this hunt to the fullest. Marius has gone way and beyond and rescheduled this hunt several times due to covid but now I'm finally here. It's a fantastic environment for roe deers. We did our first hunting last night, and within the first hour I was able to take my first Romanian animal, my first 6 pointer roe buck and it is by far exceeding my previous biggest. It was a true old warrior with worn teeth so the perfect animal to take.

This morning we had a great time in the field and saw a nice buck but in true ghost fashion he disappeared during the short time he was out of sight during our approach.

I'll write a full hunting report when I get back home but I just wanted to share this short status update.
