For '18 Telford Hunting and Fishing in New Zealand is offering a 3 day stag hunt all in from Queentown airport and return for $5,860. That's the basic price for a good representative deer here in the States and there's no lic or tag necessary for the stag. Also if you shoot well you'll get your stag.

The hunt area is Mount Maude which is 4,000 fenced acres of rough county but accommodations can be made to fit your ability.

The operation is small with Gerald preferring to only hunt one party at a time and doing most of the hunts himself. This makes for a very personalized experience.

Accommodations are provided in a small boutique hotel 5 minutes from the actual hunting area. You'll want for nothing and be well cared for.

1x1 3 days to include 1 stag scoring less than 370 SCI $5,860

The stags pictured all score between 330 and 370 SCI and I'd be happy with any one of them.
