Go to the Wyoming Fish & Game website, & push the button that checks for draws. I checked & I was drawn. I'm anxious for another great time this fall.

Unbelieveable. I couldn't even draw as a resident.

My boys each drew antelope buck and two does. With any luck at all, while they're flying home I'll be cutting and wrapping at my uncle's place!

Hello Frank - Do you know if all the AR hunters were successful in drawing their tags? Just wondering.

Larry: I only know what is posted in this post so far. Tom Kessel will post here next week & he should know. I don't think Scott (SBT) signed up for the AR hunt.

Thanks Frank, was just wondering if everyone got a tag? Hopefully the case. Leaving for Moz next Thursday, will be gone for 35 days so may not get the news on this. Later.

Hi Guys

Sorry for the delay in responding, I have been in the Big Horn Mountains the past week.

If my records are correct everyone has drawn except Hasher ( Your deposit refund will be mailed out this week).

In the next week I will be sending everyone a gear list and updates on the hunt. If you have any questions concerning the hunt feel free to contact me anytime.

Thanks guys, we are looking forward to the hunt and Joyces cooking.

I was drawn...really looking forward to my first antelope hunt!

Does the F&G dept just send the tags and licences out or do we have to do anything else?

JWM,

Yep, the tags will be along in the mail. Since you are in Canada, it may take a little longer for them to reach you.

Otherwise, prepare for 300 yard shot just in case, and have a great hunt.

Thanks, Jeremy. I'm sure my tag will make it here without problems. I'm actually more concerned about the permit from the BATF allowing me to import my guns for the hunt. It was quite shocking to learn that your country is even more anal than mine regarding firearms, at least in some respects. Frowner Eeker

Checking in to see if the BAFT paperwork got sorted out?

If there is anything I can do to help, feel free to contact me anytime.

No definitive answer from the BATF as yet, Tom. I am badgering them relentlessly by phone and will PM you when/if I get the import permit. The application was sent in well ahead of the time required as per their instructions, so I remain hopeful.

In a worst-case-scenario, do you have a loaner/rental rifle available?

I have a couple loaners, no problem if you don't get things worked out.
