After two years off, I am getting my guiding business up and running again! A huge thanks to accurate reloading members who have hunted with me in the past!

Here is the schedule for black river hunting camps 2015 season. Feel free to contact me with any questions or to book a hunt!!

July 3-12 grizzly float hunt/fish $9,000

2016 kodiak brown bear hunts are $15,500
Drawing for spring hunts is held in November and drawing for fall hunts is held in May.

All 2016 sheep hunts have been booked pending deposits.

All hunts are open to options of being done as a 2x1 hunt with a discount per person. They can also be tailored to a backpacking hunt instead of a tented base camp.
Also I will be guiding all hunts, you can call or text me at 907-414-9471 with questions. Text is best while I'm still at my old work.

Look forward to sharing my alaska with you guys again!

Jake, thanks for coming back - your offers and your approach to how the hunts are conducted has been missed.
I do hope it will be a very successful return to the outdoor business.

I will be ready for booking for 2016 here in about two weeks. Just need to write up my schedule. You can secure a rough idea now on what you want with no deposit and once I get the dates all hammered out we can get the contract and deposit rolled out!

Thanks for everyone's support, I've really missed the mountains and sharing my backyard with everyone!!

Interested in bear hunts. Are the September hunts good? Or is earlier better? Where in AK are the Grizz/Black bear hunts? How is this hunt conducted? Are the tags included?

Thanks!

Four hunters from a boat. Not something I can do. You would need a area with garunteed tags (read spendy) but I don't know of anyone off the top of my head that does boat based kodiak hunts in the refuge. I know there's a guy on the alaska peninsula that does boat based stuff.

Well 2015 is almost full up! Thanks to everyone from ar who has committed to a hunt with me! Looking forward to getting you all out in the field!

I am booking for 2016 now as well!
Sheep hunts are full. Still have several grizzly bear hunts open and spot in the draw for mt goat hunters.
Sitka black tail deer for kodiak in 2016 are still open too. Ask me about adding a brown bear to that hunt for $3000!
We have one spot this year that the bear can be added for free. In 2016 it will be $3k. Shoot me a pm or email for details.
