LUANGWA VALLEY GROUP HUNT & TIGER FISHING

LOCATION - Munyamadzi and Zambezi River
DURATION - 11 Days
PH - Thor Kirchner & Andrew Baldry
DATE - 3 to 15 November

Thor and I have been asked to put a group hunt together for beginning November and have some really good people on board but do have a space for anyone else who is keen.

8 days PG hunting @ $400 per day per person
3 days Tiger fishing @ $300 per day per person

We will split the charter inbound which comes to $450 per person and $300 each for the road transfer to Kingfisher Lodge on the Zambezi and then onto Lusaka.

What might be the trophy fees and such ... ? I need to hunt Zambia at least once ..

They've put together a really nice package. I was going to go but found another, larger safari at SCI that I jumped on, so had to drop out of this hunt.

Kinda bummed, as I was really looking forward to this hunt but the other is a grand one with my son.

The following species are currently available:

1 Civet $800
1 Kudu $2,500
1 Bushbuck $1,050
1 Puku $1,000
1 Waterbuck $1,500
2 Impala $250
2 Warthog $600
1 Klipspringer $1,400
1 Grysbock $800

More may become available at the end of the season.

Andrew- Kingfisher camp-is that that the one near the mouth of the Gorge. If so its stunning! Will have to come from my side for a few beers!

Yes it is Buzz and we will be there second week of November. Beer sounds good and come over.

Folks,

I stayed at Kingfisher back in Oct 2000 for 5 days of fishing. Buzz is correct. Stunning! The fishing above the Gorge is very good late season and the evening trips down river through the Gorge are like being in Wonderland. Ele, lion, croc, hippo, bushbuck, baboons, waterbuck, impala all over! You'll love it.

If you have ever wanted a taste of old Africa then do this now. My wife and I are already booked for a Kansas hunt or I would take her even if I shot nothing. It is worth the price just to go and for the chance to fish the Zambezi. Thor and I basically replicated this back in 2015 and it is a blast. 2016 I hunted in June so totally different.

Is there a downside--maybe depending on how you take the heat. The Luangwa Valley in November is damn hot. When Matthew Broderick said "Africa Hot" in Biloxi Blues he was talking the Luangwa in November.

You will not regret taking this opportunity.

This is the remaining quota and you can choose from this list.

OH, MAN....what a GREAT opportunity!!
As I told Thor earlier, we are already booked on a cruise leaving Auckland on Nov 19...this is just too close....HOWEVER, we are not paid in full yet and haven't seen the Air Quotes...that could Zip the cruise??!! If that happens I would book in a minute!!

What is dip and pack on trophies taken? I would be interested in Puku, Klipi, and Grysbok....ROAN if available?? Is the fishing optional or part of the Group package, just different rate?...sounds fun and I love catching those explosive striking fish!!
Have you had non-hunting observers join these Group hunts, ie wife? Rate?

Depending on amount of animals dip & pack will be $1,000 to $1,250. This is paid directly to exporter when trophies are ready. to be shipped.

The fishing is part of the group package.

Observers are welcome @ 100/day during hunting and $300/night for fishing.
