3 on 1 TOTAL daily rate US$ 3500 per Hunter or
6 on 2 TOTAL daily rate US$ 3000 per Hunter

GIven what a guy is paying in daily rates, that is not bad if he should luck into one. Obviously the odds are slim going 3x1.....but the sum of that fee and daily rates would be acceptable to most guys wanting a cat.

Yep. Buffalo is stupid cheap and anyone who scores on a leopard stole a hell of a deal.

470EDDYWOW!! Great Opportunity!
Does this hunt overlap the Bangwelu hunt Andrew is doing in September?
Any chance for Roan on this hunt? I need Roan and Puku, or puku and Sitatunga with Andrew to fill out my SCI African 29.
What type of equipment does the Charter operator use to go into camp? good commercial operator, experienced (white) pilots and great maintenance?
Still getting my legs back after nerve attack. This might be easier than Bangwelu hunt??
Cheers
470EDDY
I agree with Jeff. The Munyamadzi is a very special place. I thoroughly enjoyed my hunt there last year.

I'm not sure if Andrews Bangweulu hunt is still on. I have not been able to get hold of him.
Yes there will be Roan and Puku available on this hunt.
Depending on number of hunters we would fly in a Caravan or a Islander. Both very reliable planes. I personally no most of the pilots and they are very good. The operator will be Pro Charter Zambia
Cheers

Thor and 470EDDY,
I don't want to speak for Andrew, but as of several weeks ago his Bangweulu hunt was still on and based on the dates he gave me it bumps up against the back end of the dates you propose.

470EDDYHUMM...sounds pretty interesting!! I wonder if a guy could do this hunt and then hook up with Andrew for his hunt in Bangwelu?? I think he still has one slot open, waiting to see if my legs come back well enough?? Two back to back in Zambia is pretty enticing!!
Only problem is my wife is seriously considering a pre-cruise trip (in September)on a ship we are looking at for a much more extensive trip in January.....and we are invited on a French Barge river cruise in September too...puts me in a bind....should I hope the others don't materialize...or is that bad juju??!!

Thor KirchnerGuys,
Andrew will not be able to join us on this hunt.
The buffs are spoken for.
But still hippo, croc, roan and othe plains game available.
470EDDY to be honest I done think it would be posible to do both hunts as Andrew intends to drive to Bangweulu and it's far. Unless you charter a plane from Munya to Bangweulu?
Thor

Thor KirchnerWe are still looking for one Hunter for this hunt.

Do you haver any quota on non-trophy or cow Roan? I am just checking off boxes for the SCI African 29 which I despise!! What is TF on those?
Waiting for an e-mail from Andrew on dates and space availability on his Bangwelu hunt....to do back to back??

We dont do any non trophy hunting here as we have to by a license for every animal we kill. The Zambian wildlife authority unfortunately dont sell any non trophy licenses.
Please let me know if you are still game for the hunt as I want to seal it soon.

Mike,
At the moment we still have one space left. We will only be doing the 3on1 so we wont need another PH unless we suddenly get four more guys.
We still have Elephant, Hippo, Roan and other plains game available.

470EDDYPoacher458- my legs just aren't coming back fast enough. I fear with 3x1 I would drag the whole group down. I am going to pass this year.
Hope you have a great hunt!

fairgameGreat offer Thor and this is hard to beat. Munyamadzi is old Africa and the camp and new accommodation is awesome.
Lots of leopard and the pricing is very fair and basically you pay on success.
Must be one of our top areas for trophy Roan, Kudu and Bushbuck.
