Folks,

Below is basically the same deal I offered in Tondwa for Muchinga Safaris last year. Three AR members took advantage of this great opportunity and they all killed beautiful sitatunga bulls as well as a variety of other game including blue duiker, bushpig, puku, roan, sable and eland. Tondwa is a very special area offering a unique safari experience and the price is SO RIGHT .

Muchinga Safaris has the Tondwa GMA in the far north of Zambia and has maintained a 98% success there on sitatunga. There have been 3 failures in 14 seasons. One hunter left after 3 days and two wounded and lost their sitatunga. They have 2 sitatunga still available for '17 with any 7 days open 1-30 Nov. These late season dates are ideal for sitatunga when the swamps have dried up making the hunting much easier. Also there are dark of the moon periods available that can make the hunt even easier as the sitatunga will come out of the papyrus earlier in the evening to feed and stay out longer in the morning. The more animals you see the more selective you can be.

Price for sitatunga special:

1x1 7 days $8,950 WAS $13,950

Included:

Daily fees
Concession fee
Conservation fee, gun permit, hunting license
TROPHY FEE ($2,000 refunded if unsuccessful)

Not included:

Additional trophy fees
Dip/pack $1,500
Transfer to Tondwa
Shipping of trophies
All insurances
International travel
Ammo tax $2-$5 per round
Visa $100
Airport departure tax $25

UPGRADE TO ALLOW ROAN, SABLE, ELAND $11,950 PLUS ROAN, SABLE AND ELAND TROPHY FEES. WAS $21,250. ONLY ONE OF EACH AVAILABLE

Trophy fees:

Sitatunga $6,000 included in package.
Roan $6,975
Sable $6,000
Eland $4,000
Blue duiker $950
Common duiker $530
Puku $850
Common reedbuck $750
Bushpig $850

Contact me on this one anytime.

Biebs,

I booked Butch on a hunt in Argentina and one on the Luangwa as well as Tondwa so we can be sure Butch has done at least three hunts.

I took advantage of this deal last year! I'm in last pic. My hunt report is a few page down in the 'Hunting Reports'.

You will see lots of animals and have fun doing it.

PM me if you have any questions or just want to discuss.

I also did this one a couple years back.

Johnny and Laura DuPlooy do a great job, and trophies come back expeditiously and since they do it themselves, minimal costs.

The Sitatunga is probably as close to a slam-dunk opportunity as you will see in wild africa.

My only word of advice would be take the charter to camp.

I'm not affiliated with Mark at all, but if anyone wants to talk about the hunt there, feel free to pm me.
