The lion must be hunted 2015 as his offspring will mature and they want to prevent inbreeding. The proceeds will be used to replace this said male.

Hunt will be bait and blind method.

The price is not the issue. That is a good price for what you have.

As you likely know, the issue is ethics and hunting fenced/pen raised/anything but free range lions. You will get some comments about this.

Take it in. There are people who like to hunt the type of lion you are offering and hopefully they will buy the opportunity.

On another issue or idea - you have started posting hunts on AR. Some look pretty good. To enhance your chances of selling a hunt, you may want to post pictures of past hunts you have brokered, post a website that shows who you are and your business background in the hunting industry. Being from Ukraine, you will have to create some credibility with the North Americans on this website.

I am a South African moving between Ukraine and South Africa.I understand that some people have dislikes but then other will like the dislikes.I really go out of my way to hunt for very good lower priced hunts to benefit the hunters.What I have seen in the market is unnecessary high prices.I try to combat that.Hunters will soon realize that. Regards

The problem I see with this offer is not that it is a captive lion.

You are selling a hunt for the year after next, to a specific animal which as you mention is in an exceptional size.

How do we know that he will still be around until then?

And if the hunt fails, how come only trophy fees and CITES are refundable?

If I was going to shoot this lion, I would want to see a photo of hi, and a guarantee to shoot him.

Failing which, I want ALL my money refunded, plus my air fair as well!

seems to me that 10 lions( adults and cubs) free ranging on a 3400 hectare game farm would soon wipe out the plains game unless they are fed other "stuff"( and it has to be high fenced by RSA).......

Details as promised.If possible a lion picture will be taken.This Lion is an outstanding trophy as it has now scars due to the fact that it is the only male on the farm (no territorial battles).

3400 hectares game farm are fenced on 4 sides and have abundance of plains game.

The pride kills +/- 1 Zebra, Impala and other small Plains Game in a week. It must be
remembered that lions actually fail up to 3 out of 4 times to kill. They also don’t eat every day. They feed up to 3 days on a zebra kill.

The game farmer has a cattle farm nearby and premature born calves when available are fed periodically to the predators on the game farm. (Hyenas and lions.)
The male has been a resident on the farm for the last 2 years and has absolutely no contact with humans apart from hunters.
The pride consists of the said male (which was born as a free roaming lion but moved to the farm) 4 mature lionesses, 2 young females and 3 female cubs +- 9 months old. Not one bred in captivity.
The young been offspring will come into maturity next year October and to prevent inbreeding it must be hunted.
Correction
The lion can be hunted October/November next year.

If by any change the lion dies of injuries or sickness before the hunt it will be replaced with a similar lion but could be on another concession that has free roaming lions.
No cage captive bred lion will be used. I have a similar lion available which will be posted soon and that can replace the said lion. This one is next to Kruger Park and animals move in and out all the time.
The cost of the new CITES permit will then be carried by me.

I consulted with a Russian client earlier today. Anton Bakker was paid $250 000.00 for three Rhino hunts. When the Russians arrived from Moscow they were at first not picked up at the airport. Later on Bakker had all kinds of excuses and eventually had to admit to a police officer that there were no permits (and probably no rhinos). A criminal case is now pending against him. AVOID THIS FELLOW AT ALL COST!!

It is true I was there all the way. Ì called the police together with Nature Conservation. A fraud case was made against him.

Was it only the Russian client that was involved in this scam or is there more people involved.

I have been in correspondence with one of the guys and another will reply soon. I have also arranged a lawyer for these guys to defend them in court.
5 clients are involved so far. No need for anyone to contact to investigating officer.

I have a serious question.
On a rather small plot of land, why 14 days? I would expect 1-2-3 days max. What is there to do after the lion is taken?
Also, nice elephant on your site. Where do you hunt these?
