Just a shout-out for CIBTvisas. My family and I are leaving for a vacation in Belize next weekend and I discovered on May 7 that my younger son's US passport expired almost a year ago.

After sending out a couple frantic e-mails asking about passport expediters, I contacted a friend of mine who works for a non-profit that sends people all over the world. She recommended CIBT. It was not cheap, but they got my sons' new passport to us within ten days of my discovery.

Keep it in mind just in case. As with any other business you find with a Google search, referrals from people who have done business with them is worth gold in my book.
