I’ve been watching business airfares from DFW, ATL or MIA to WDH or JNB for several months since buying a donation at the DSC convention. The final destination is Windhoek for 2 people. Long story short is that airfares varied wildly from $12,000 to $28,000 for 2 people. Tonight I found a deal direct from QA for $8500 from DFW to JNB. With add on airfare from JNB to WDH , total fare is under $9000. Persistence pays off.

The only restriction is this ticket is non refundable, although if you cancel it, a credit for a future flight is given.

A friend missed his flight on a cheap ticket.

His fault as he arrived at the airport with no passport!

He couldn’t get a flight back for 2 days, and had to pay extra.

That is why I asked.

This is not a cheap ticket from a booking consolidator. It was booked direct with QA and I just happened to catch a much reduced rate the short time it was available.
