I have a nice CZ550 .375 that was upgraded by AHR in the USA. I noticed that when they refinished the action they removed the "banner" or roll stamp with model and makers name. I recently had it imported to Canada with no problems, but now I'm nervous about going through airports in Toronto, Frankfurt and Windhoek with a rifle that only has a serial number and caliber stamp for ID. Has anyone else travelled with a rifle without makers marks? Does it matter? Any advice?

Put "Custom" when forms call for make. That was the advise I rec'd from Christy at Gracy Travel. Her full time job is to be on top of gun related travel issues. Mark MARK H. I have an older custom made rifle, that has no real makers mark on it. I had it with me to many places including some of the more difficult countries in Africa. Never had a problem. They check the serial number and that's it.
