I just bought my ticket to SA and return on Emirates. When the email ticket arrived it stated seats are not assigned until check in.

Is this correct? I prefer asile seats on my flights, most so on the long ones.
What say you fellas. How can one get aisle seating on Emirates?
Cal

Fly a-380

Emirates is great airline but the seats are narrow. My shoulders stick out.

Hope you have an empty middle seat. Window on a-380is more comfortable for me as I lean on the side.

You should be able to pick your seat online.
There maybe a cost depending on the type ofTicket you purchased.

I have no idea why your flying to Africa.

You like all these guns from the Stone Age, so I thought you might enjoy sailing to Africa!

You won’t need to worry about seating arrangements rotflmo

Saeed:
I just bought a old .300 Weatherby. A cool rifle with a serial number <300. I also ordered a funny looking round tube glass sight for it (Zeiss 3-15x Conquest).

The reason I'm flying is I want to be sure to make it to Mark Sullivan's camp so I can hunt, return, and post a report on AR, and read your countless hate posts.

But, you've got to give me credit. I'm flying the best airline in the world: Emirates!
Cheers, mate.

Yes Cal.

There is no question EMIRATES is the best right now.

Sadly, you have picked a self glorifying idiot to hunt with!

Why don’t you pick a decent, real, honest, professional hunter to hunt with?

Not someone whose only care in this world is glorifying himself rotflmo

Hi Saeed:
Honestly and without insults or emotion, I like Mark and want to share a camp with him. He is a kind, and honest gent and we enjoy the same rifles. I see beyond the Mark that is used to market hunts and videos. When I post my hunt report here, the games will begin.
Cheers,
Cal

There is only one worm in this conversation.

And his name is Mark Sullivan!

And he only has himself to blame, for portraying himself in such stupid, idiotic manner just to appeal to like minded indiots who buy his films! clap

Buffalo and some plains game if time allows.
Saeed:
If you get this upset at the simple mention of a hunt, you will get really twisted when I pen my hunt report.
And, just to clarify, my buff is not ear tagged, but is kept chained in a barn. He will also be drugged to calm him down but nut shot to wake him up just before I aim and Mark kills him.
The truth is out. Happy now?
Cheers,
Cal

Just returned from a trip to Uganda flying Emirates. We paid a bit extra to get seats a little further forward in the aircraft. We were just behind business class, and had adequate leg room and aisle seats. I would say we had at least as much room as I had on any other international flight I have been on.

Just curious, what is the cost of the upgrade?
Is it like Delta's comfort class?

I don't know Cal but I was told to ask to upgrade when checking in. I'm going to budget $1,000 in case. I was told, by a friend, that he upgraded for $500 but one never knows.

If you sign up for the Emirates Skywards program, they emails infrequently with "specials", some of which are really good (although not so many in the past year or so), we've bought business class seats at really, really good prices in the past from DFW to Joburg and DFW to Hararre.

With all the trips over why are you flying coach.
They have a great Business Class. The only way to fly and never worry who is sitting next to you.
Like you I use to fight to get aisle seats but no more.
