And Beyond who were formally known as CCA are simply fabulous but they're not cheap. FWIW, we've just planned a few of these safaris for various people & if you email me at numzaan@zoho.com I'll be happy to send you details etc.

You might want to check into a photo safari with Gary Kramer. Mr. Kramer is one of the preeminent freelance writers and wildlife photographers in America, and he has organized something like 2 dozen African photo safaris, usually in Tanzania, but also some in Kenya. Gary personally hosts each trip, and gives lots of pointers to those who wish to become more proficient with their wildlife photography skills. I have two different friends who have gone on his trips and they speak very highly of the experience. You can get a good idea of what his trips are like by visiting his website. If you need more information, feel free to PM me and I can put you in touch with those who have been on photo safaris with Gary. www.garykramer.net

My wife and I used Uncharted Outposts about five years ago and their service was top shelf. They offer numerous options for each area and you pick and choose. Lots of good advice. Nick Brandt and other photography notables were also in camp for the great migration on the Mara River Kenya. Something you need to see to believe. At any rate check them out.
