Traveling to Zim thru JoBurg next May. If someone was not booking with air miles (when you have to book 330+days in advance), is there a better time that anyone has experienced to ticket to get the lowest airline rates?

safari-lawyerIn the last 3 years on three trips, I've paid the same price (basically) for tickets bought 330 days ahead of time, 180 days ahead of time, and less than 30 days ahead of time. For me, it does not seem to matter when I book.

L. David KeithThat can be a can of worms. I've had clients pay $1,200 - $2,700 depending upon where/whom they bought their tickets from. May is high season, so buy now if available. Price increases can be avoided.

Jorge400The cheapest price I have ever paid was 3 weeks out and the second cheapest price was about 6 to 8 weeks out. However, if I had a trip booked already I would not fuss about.
