Gee, what a surprise! Associated Press HARARE, Zimbabwe – Police in Zimbabwe say they are investigating a case of alleged ivory smuggling linked to the wife of former leader Robert Mugabe. Police spokeswoman Charity Charamba says an investigation was opened after a whistle blower came forward with information. Charamba says no one has been charged and that investigators hope to ascertain the "exact role" of Grace Mugabe, whose political ambitions intensified the national discontent that led to a military takeover and her 94-year-old husband's resignation in November. Tinashe Farawo, a Zimbabwean wildlife official, says documents in the case have been submitted to police. Farawo says Grace Mugabe and senior members of her staff allegedly forced parks officials to sign export permits for ivory pieces without following procedure. http://www.foxnews.com/world/2...rld+Latest+-+Text%29 Frank "I don't know what there is about buffalo that frightens me so.....He looks like he hates you personally. nothing new... was caught last year, however at the time Mugabe was still in office and was allowed to go right the lines. This time she was caught with about 400 pounds of ivory in 8 bags (not positive, however i think that is what i read). I am not sure if anything will happen... >>>>>>>>>>>>>> "You've got the strongest hand in the world. That's right. Your hand. The hand that marks the ballot. The hand that pulls the voting lever. Anyone surprised dictator's wives aren't exactly pure as driven snow ? Mandela's wife was even implicated in a murder.
