Curious to what the temperatures are like in the Omay area of Zim during the first couple of weeks in October. Would appreciate any information from you guys that hunted this area during this time period. Thanks in advance.

I was in Omay the first couple weeks in Oct two years ago. It was quite hot. I am from Texas and I figure it was about like Texas in August. I am just guessing but definately in the upper 90's in the day and it did not really get very cool at night either. I would gues mid 70's at night. 6x NFR Qualifier NFR Champion Reserve World Champion Bareback Rider PRCA Million Dollar Club 02' Salt Lake Olympic Qualifier and an all around good guy!

I have been there in september one year and in october another year. It is hot, very hot. In september during midday it was about 35 cº. At night it was not bad 25cº more or less. While hunting (and fishing when we were in Chete) a terrible storm got us in the Kariba lake. It got the s..t out of me. The temperature was not terrible. In october..... damn it was veeery hot, up to 40cº but the hunting was absolutely fantastic. The buff hunt in omay was absolutely beautiful and as it is the end of the season some quota may be left over and you can make a very good deal. But be prepared to walk on long hot days. There are some big dagga boys there if you work hard diego
