Anyone had any experience going from Bubye to either Hwange or the Falls by Air Charter or ground. Looking at this for an option later this year. Other option is to return Harare and then up on Valujet, but would likely lose a day. This is the wife's portion of the trip and she is not keen on riding in the cruiser.

Yes, my husband and I air chartered out of Bubye to the Falls in 2014. A little pricey but well worth it.
Buzz Charlton made all the arrangements and it went flawlessly. Whoever your outfitter is in Bubye should be able to arrange this for you.

Thanks all, going to go back to Harare for visit then up to Falls and back again for the next weekend. Works out better for friends in and around Harare.

Usually the outfitters using the Bubye on a regular basis work with Frank and his wife (out of Bulawayo) for an overland transfer to Vic Falls. They pick you up in the Bubye and drive you in their van to Hwange or Vic Falls. And, the last time that I did that, they provided some packed lunch. Nice drive and no problems.
