My wife and I, and an old friend, will be doing a tuskless cow hunt with Buzz Charlton in the Makuti area next July. As none of us has ever seen Vic Falls, it seems that diverting over there for a day or two after the hunt is something we should do. Any suggested lodging or activities? If SAA drops the Vic Falls -Harare flight, this could get a lot less practical.

I would contact Russell Caldecott at the Ultimate Safari Lodge. He caters to hunters and we had a great time staying with him a couple of months ago.

50 days till we fly out to RSA & Zim.. Friends in Zim say that all is quiet and perfectly safe. Also very few tourists so you maybe able to haggle at the bigger Hotels for a good price.

Definantly do Vic Falls. You will never forget it. My wife and I are taking the kids there. it will be my fourth visit.
