Bloody airlines behavior is getting out of hand! Or is it media lying again?? I can imagine them being booted off for using their phones. But not for not reading the safety card.

I’ve never had a problem looking at Rachel Hunter. _________________________________ AR, where the hopeless, hysterical hypochondriacs of history become the nattering nabobs of negativisim.

And there lies the problem. I would rather have any safety information explained to me by someone who knows what he is talking about, and to the point. Rather than some blonde bimbo, being paid ridiculous amount of my money so she she pretend to be intelligent!

It’s always just someone reading a script, not an aeronautical safety expert. I suppose they could give them honorary degrees before they recite the standard litany, but no one really cares who they happened to drag into the recording studio that day. _________________________________ AR, where the hopeless, hysterical hypochondriacs of history become the nattering nabobs of negativisim.

i am sure that there is more to the story that we are reading. when i have been in a exit row, i have been asked if i can do the item in the brochure. answer is always yes or they will move you to another seat if one is available. i have seen people moved but not removed from a flight. like a 8 year old child. >>>>>>>>>>>>>> "You've got the strongest hand in the world. Air New Zealand mandates that anyone sitting in an exit row review the special instructions on operating the emergency doors and verbally confirm that they are willing and able to perform the duties required, when asked by the crew. To refuse to review the card means that you cannot sit in the exit row. To ignore the crew's instructions by putting your fingers in your ears is grounds for removal from the flight. What a joke. The video, if it were truthful, would have shown an image of a man bending over, putting his head between his legs, and kissing his sorry ass goodbye. I don’t need a video for that. Although I might pay good New Zealand money to see Rachel Hunter doing it. Mike Wilderness is my cathedral, and hunting is my prayer.

For a topic as ‘dry’ as flight safety, Air New Zealand made a pretty good video. Dumbass couple deserved what they got, IMO.

Seriously, it's a two minute video. Captive audience. Where the f**k were they going to go anyway? I say good for NZ Air! Doug Wilhelmi NRA Life Member

No doubt NZ did the right thing. If people aren't willing to follow crew member instructions on the ground, what makes you think they will while airborne?
