Hi guys,

Any experience in flying with guns via Munich?

I have good advice about guns via London and also via Amsterdam.
What are the German gun laws when in transit, and how does the Munich airport work from a transit point of view?

I did everything as carry through from IAH (houston) to Windhoek via Frankfurt...no problems there, but that was in 2006...seems like only a few months ago sometimes LOL

Which airline? LTU is one of the main airlines serving Munich and my understanding is that LTU does not carry firearms.

What, cry, is LTU?
Via Munich it'd be Finnair and Lufthansa; and Blue1 on the way back. Same via Frankfurt.

The problem will be that Finnair'll break your gun case.
Blue1 applies SAS's idiotic gun rules but the upside is the girl at the counter will not know her business so it really doesn't matter.
