MARK H. YOUNGDuckear,
It depends alot on species your after in Zim. March/April can be very good for ele or leopard in the right areas but difficult for buff and PG.
I don't think it makes a huge difference in Namibia if your talking about PG. When I hunted there the operator I used said the hunting was very good even in Feb.

StonecreekIn Namibia, March = Sept, April = October, May = November, etc. The late rainy season usually occurs in February and subsides in March, and even then, it may or may not be that "rainy". Depending on the not-totally-predictable weather, I would ideally not want to go until April, with May and June being
typically better times.
Of course, the potential for rain (and heat) is greater in the north of the country than in the drier (and cooler) south. If you wished to plan an early hunt, it might be more reasonable to plan it in the south.

almostacowboyWeather-wise, most of us do not care for Namibia after Oct 1, that is unless you like Death Valley, CA, or Phoenix, AZ in June.
