What are the concerns or problems associated with travelling through Dubai with firearms. I am planning trip to South Africa with wife and son for next June and found low priced air fare on Emirates Air going through Dubai. Is this doable or too much of a hassle? Anyone with experience on this?

You should not have a problem as long as you get all your approvals first.

Inform Emirates that you will be travelling with firearms, and that t5hey should get the necessary permits at Dubai airport.
