It's been 10 years since my last Safari and it really feels like the first one. I will be in Zim 9/9-9/17 Hunting with my old Buddy BUZZ at CMS. I last hunted with Buzz 12 years ago. We are hunting Croc and Hippo and one of the ways I got to go at all was to promise the wife no mounts would be coming home.
Regards Dangerous Dave..

Wish you luck. Left Buzz and Justin on the 11th. Saw a MONSTER croc on the Zambezi...MONSTER....and plenty of hippo.

Safe travels and have fun. It had been 7 years since I'd hunted with CMS. Was great to back in Dante.

Cheers,

My 10th anniversary as well, but no safaris in my future as of now, darn it. Enjoy!

You will have a ball (except for the sticker shock). Last Sept I went back to Zim after almost 13 years. I enjoyed it more than my first two safaris combined.

There is something about getting old that make you appreciate the smaller things more (smell of mopane smoke, skill of the trackers, etc.).

Congratulations on heading back.

Great idea on the no mounts. Just ship the D&P skins, skulls and horns.

I can't believe I am reporting that I never made it to Zimbabwe. Hurricane Irma hit South Florida just as I was ready to leave and I had to cancel my trip. Maybe next year.
