To those of you that have recently sent your SAPS forms to one of the permitting services, if you sent it via USPS Priority Mail (not Fedex), you might want to contact the service you are using and verify that they received your forms....apparently the postal workers in Joburg have been on strike and the mail has been piling up and last night this pile of mail was set on fire. I always use Air 2000 and Anne with Air 2000 called this morning to tell us to resend our paperwork as she felt that ours was damaged or destroyed.

I will use Air 2000 also.
How far in advance should one mail the documents to them?

Guys,

This is the reason I recommend clients send their RSA gun permit applications via courier Fed Ex etc. It might cost a $100 but to me it is money well spent.
