mete" heard a man grown" We had a factory with some of the men had radios for communications. One day when an employee [very heavy] went to the toilet .One of the guys with a radio had a recording of supposed sounds from a toilet , growns etc. Each of the radio men turned up their radios so eveyone could hear.Lots of laughter that day.

MJinesMy understanding is that the same thing happened with a notable PH on this forum, who has produced several commercial DVDs, who took a walk in the bush to relieve himself as a result of fiber intake and left his microphone open. Lots of good humor in camp over that one.

AcerMy daughter used to work Customer Relations for an airline - and had several full days responding to complaints when a young couple decided to join the Mile High Club in the latrine - the door of which was not designed to handle the undue physical exertion - and opened unceremoniously, dumping the conjoined duo into the aisle.
The pilot diverted to the nearest airport - and ordered them off. The young man's mom spent the following week calling the airline repeatedly to complain about the airline's draconian actions!
Maybe there should be a curtain outside the door - for more reasons than noise/odors...

FjoldI had a great seat the other day but I couldn't figure out what type of plant the lady is trying to stow in the overhead.

AnotherAZWriterFor some reason this reminds me of one of my pet peeves...
I can't count how many times I have seen a guy in an airport bathroom skip the urinal even though there are plenty of spaces open, go to a stall, and urinate without lifting up the seat.
It is always a young guy about 20-30. What is up with this rude behavior??
I guess that is what we get when the ALCU outlaws gang showers in high school. Those growing up today think it is "gay" to stand at a urinal (words of my nephew).

MikeEJines,
I remember the old DC10 that Continental used to fly out of IAH to Gatwick. Standing around the island ( pre 9/11) and drinking all the way home - that beat the hell out of the 29E lavatory seat!
I did get a seat from San Diego back to IAH once though, that I paid for in first class, that my seat mate was half into my seat. She was not a "cute BBW" as might be described on a dating site though. She was more like a VBUC, you figure out the acronym!

surestrikeActually while I have inspected the Breaticus Gynormicus very thoroughly. And they pass with flying colors. Closer inspection reveals that the plant being stuffed into the overhead sure looks like a Cannabis of some type..
Must be a Dutch airline .....

Wahahaha I just showed this to my wife " hey love check this out "
Then put the IPad down and asked, "I wonder what plant she's putting in the overhead bin."
"What plant was the reply?"
I showed her and said she's just as bad as me.
Well I got a sheepish grin

StopckmakerFlights have not stopped at the Cape Verde Islands to refuel for many years. It has been Dakar, Senegal for a long time now. Carriers flying to Joberg from the US sometimes stopped there depending on the fuel range of the aircraft or how much fuel they carried. Refueling stops in Dakar on flights back to the US were more common due to unfavorable winds. My Delta flight in a Boeing 767 model (2008) stopped there both times and flight time was 18 1/2 hours outbound and longer on the return. There are more direct flights both ways currently since longer range planes ,the 777LR for example, (Delta) or an equivalent Airbus model (SAA) now fly Jbg. direct both ways for the most part.My SAA flight this year is scheduled at about 15 hours JFK/NY to JBG.
I HOPE all goes as scheduled !
