Someone i know is leaving SA and emigrating to Canada.

They want to take their firearms with them.

I have suggested sell and buy in Canada but they have some family heirlooms.

Does anyone know what the process would be? How easy it would be to export and import?

i did that few years ago.

i will avoid the handguns and the restricted firearms but shotguns and rifles are very easy to do.

they changed the form to include the immigrant part.
