I have a guy going on the trip to RSA with me and I just found out he doesn't have his letter of invitation yet.

Any ideas? We fly out tomorrow.

At any point before going in the SAPS office is it possible to get the letter from the PH in person?

Mine was emailed in a .PDF and I printed it here.

SAPS is outside Customs/Immigration so it should be possible. What does the PH say?

Click here for a map courtesy of Riflepermits.Com.

You can see that you go through the "general meeting area" after Customs to get to SAPS.

"emailed in a .PDF and I printed it here."

I was thinking the samething as a possible.

Based on the map it looks like we can meet him in the common area.

I have an email to the PH.

Put his firearm on your 4457 form and add it to your SAPS application.

We are back and It all worked out fine.

The guns go in to the SAPS office first, then After you clear customs/immigration we entered the general meeting area. We met up with our PH,finished filling out the paperwork, went in to the SAPS office and came out with the guns in 20 minutes.

WOW , what a plane ride.

Between jetlag and trying to get my shop/work up to speed, I have not had time to edit my photos and make a post but it is on its way.
