Has anyone shipped their rifles and ammo to PH ahead of their hunt?

Import/Export problems make shipping a firearm as freight out of the country almost impossible.

Was just a thought - A friend at work was describing how when he took the family on vacation he would have each pack a box and ship them to the hotel instead of packing luggage with them.
