I was in Mozambique last week for a week of relaxing and fishing at my PH friends beach camp south of Vilankulo. Flew Air Link which was pleasant enough except for the Joburg baggage guys stealing 2 battery packs from my sons pack when we gate checked his bag at the bottom of the stairs. I was pleasantly surprised by how fast we were processed through customs and immigration given all of the changes Moz. has made in the past 12 months. Agent gave the invitation letter a cursory look and stamped our passports right away. No inspections by customs, just threw the bags on the xray belt and off we went. I had half a checked bag full of fishing lures and no questions. My friend who drove over from RSA said the border was easier too vs. the past.

Very smart on their part to make things simple.

Travel is enough of an effort, make it seamless for people to show up in your country & spend money!
