Dear Air Namibia customer,

We have just been informed that Lufthansa Technic will carry out maintenance work on both our A340-300. This will delay two flights in June:

This will affect departures from FRA only

Unfortunately we herewith need to inform you that due to a scheduled maintenance of one of our Airbus aircraft your flight to Windhoek (flight number SW286) on 25th of June 2010 will not operate on schedule. Departure is postponed to 26th of June, 8:00 local time.

If it is not possible for you to travel on 26th of June, 8:00 local time, we offer you the following two options:
- rebooking of your flight to Windhoek free of charge to flight SW286 Frankfurt – Windhoek on 24th of June, departure time 20:10 local time
- rebooking of your flight to Windhoek free of charge to flight SW286 Frankfurt – Windhoek on 26th of June, departure time 20:10 local time

Please note, that Air Namibia will not refund the costs for the additional night in Namibia or any other additional used services if you decide to rebook your flight to 24th of June 2010. Thank you for your understanding.
If you decide for a flight on 26th of June, departure time 20:10 local time, we will refund the costs for any unused but prepaid services/additional costs against production of corresponding bills and receipts and after examinations thereof.

If you decide for none of the above mentioned options you will automatically be booked on SW286 to Windhoek on 25th of June with departure time 26th of June, 8:00 local time. If it is impossible for you to travel to Frankfurt Airport on the morning of 26th of June 2010, Air Namibia will offer their client a free of charge hotel accommodation from 25th to 26th of June 2010. A hotel room will automatically be prebooked for you. At our Check-In counters 880-898 in terminal 2 of Frankfurt Airport you will receive the voucher for the hotel accommodation. Please proceed to our Check-In counters on 25th of June at the usual Check-In times.
