I just booked this flight for the second half of this coming October through TWG. On my first flight to Africa September 2002 I went from LAX to JNB economy and the RT cost about $ 1,700. It was so miserable I swore I would spend the extra $ and upgrade to business next time. I was shocked to find the price of business class on SAA back then for the same flight was almost $ 12K! Needless to say I have always flown economy until this trip.

The price of business on Qatar with TWG's booking/firearm fee is down to $ 5,200. The flight is longer but I will finally be in business and I avoid JNB. It is amazing to me how much the cost of business class has dropped. I am getting too old for those long economy flights and am really looking forward to stretching out and not arriving exhausted.
