We are off to Chirisa and Dollar Block. Leave out of Newark on August 28th via Frankfurt to Bulawayo.

Cape Buffalo, Kudu, Impala, Wildebeest and Warthog on the list from September 1 through 12 then back in NJ on the 14th.

600 Overkill, 585 AHR, 416 Weatherby and 300 SAUM all making the trip.

Need to pick up a few more memory cards for the cameras.

who are you hunting with? i hunted the Dollar block in 2001. it is a gorgeous place but at that time the "war vets" were starting to move in and cause problems. in fact we had an armed confrontation with them during lunch one day. back then it was crawling with plains game. had a chance to shoot a PAC elephant while i was there( a herd of eles had come through the fence and i could have shot several for $500 a piece-oh well) the view from the dining room/lounge area out over the plains was fantastic. they also kept several large cages of breeding lions just below the cottages. the racket they made at night 100 yards away made earplugs mandatory. hope your hunt goes well.

We'll be with Danny Friend of Nengasha Safaris. Hoping we see the game you saw but not the troubles.

Thanks,
Paul
