Hilarious and so true. I made the mistake of booking on Frontier airlines once. Never again.

There's good cheap, and there's bad cheap. Usually the good cheap isn't so cheap really but compared to the horrible disappointment of bad cheap the extra cost is well worthwhile. Takes a little experience and working with a good travel agent to steer clear of the mire. Hunting.... it's not everything, it's the only thing.

I will tell you something out of experience. Traveling through Europe, we used to fly Business Class on one of the major airlines. Then they decided to make it ridiculous. The seats are the same - 3 on each side. But, they block the middle seat, supposedly giving you more space. Sometimes they decide to downgrade the plane to a smaller one, where you cannot take any carry on luggage on board! Guess what? We tried cheapos like Ryan Air and others. These nickel and dime you, but you actually get what you pay for. The flight costs X amount. A bag of 20 Kgs cost Y amount - you can take as many as you wish, just pay for them. You want to reserve a specific seat, it will cost you extra. Despite all this, the flying ends up less distressing.

We were going to the Northern part of Sweden, skiing. We flew Emirates First Class to Munich. To Stockholm on SAS Business Class. From Stockholm to another city in the north I cannot remember the name of in an inter city cattle carrier. From there we had to drive about 100 kilometers in my sister in laws SUV. 4 people with lots of luggage! My wife and her sister in the front. Hessa and me barely fit over our stuff in the back. I said I will be looking forward going home - forms of transport would improve as you go, instead of going down hill! The girls were not impressed, and said “you enjoy walking so much, so why don’t you get out and walk?” Women, God have them a mouth which is far too big for their brains!
