Where are you originating? KLM goes directly from Amsterdam to Kilimanjaro. You will need to obtain a Dutch Consent Form to transit through Amsterdam, but your agent can handle that with no problem. Tim

Have no personal experience but transiting Nairobi with firearms was brought up on this forum a few months ago and the advice was generally don't even try.

I haven't transited Nairobi in many years. However, my advice would be not to try it with firearms or ammunition unless you receive clear and competent instructions on the correct permitting process - if there is one. The carrier (likely to be Swiss) would know if luggage inclusive of sporting arms is accepted if checked through to final destination.
