Anybody on the flight heading to Africa via London?

WHY with all the BS being given to people flying to Africa through Europe, is anyone still doing it. Can fly from Denver to DC and take a SAA flight directly from there to Joburg, or fly to Atlanta and take a ?? flight directly to Joburg, and not lay overs and fooling around with these jerks in England or Germany.

I know BA has gotten a lot of flack, but we flew them many times without any problem at all with firearms or anything else. I prefer the direct flight from LAX, or in this case Denver, to London rather than transitting Dulles(United)or Atlanta (Delta).
