I intend to spend a few days in Arusha before and after an upcoming safari. I've stayed at the Coffee Lodge and found it quite nice and haven't had any problems with guns. I've never been to the Legendary Lodge but read that it's nice. Has anyone been to both hotels and can compare the two?

My stays at the Coffee House have been excellent. Can’t speak for the other.

I really like the New Arusha Hotel, but I haven't been since their latest renovations.
